Our aim is to encourage the widest possible use of the NRP Biorepository to help develop improvements in the treatment and prevention of many different diseases. For this reason, information provided to participants before they consented to take part explained that bona fide researchers in the pharmaceutical industry and other commercial organisations would be able to use the biorepository for health-related research that is in the public interest.
