After a successful event last year within the STEMM Village, the Biorepository is back for another year! Last year it was great to engage with so many children and adults and discuss how they can be a part of research and things that happen within the Biorepository. We had some young scientists show off their pipetting skills with our fun competition to see how quick they can complete the task, could you be the winner this year?!
The Biorepository is a part of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and supports research across the Norwich Research Park as well as national projects across the country. We have recently developed Online Consent, making it even easier for anyone to get involved in research! If you choose to consent online, it will allow the Biorepository to collect and use any surplus (left-over) samples that you may have taken at the hospital in research.
If you are interested in hearing more about how you can get involved, then come see us in the STEMM village on the 27th of June 2024!
